Last night at f4 we held our Grand Finale of the year, The Image of the Year and Print of the Year competitions. These two competitions are the result of a whole year's internal competitions - 9 PDI rounds and 9 print rounds, encompassing a huge variety of subject matter and taking in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed images from those competitions.
Our Judge for the evening was Mike Barnard from f.0cus of Bridlington - a club against whom we compete every Autumn. It gives us a good chance to pitch our skills against other like minded photographers. His critique was accurate, encouraging and humorous - so a great balance.
He came to the conclusion that the Winner of the Image of the Year trophy was Steve Littlewood for his image "Winter Rollers".

The Print of the Year trophy was also won by Steve with his image "The Rider" which was taken in one of our earlier club rounds "Movement". Again, here's the image together with Steve reciving his award.
